The Million Pixel Homepage respects the intellectual property rights of others. How to file a takedown notice

Your notice must include all six of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed (or a representative list, if multiple works).
  2. Identification of the infringing material — the pixel block's coordinates or a direct link to the page location, plus a description sufficient for us to find it.
  3. Your contact information — name, address, phone number, and email.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Send the notice to dmca@millionpixelclub.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice". Incomplete notices may not be acted on.

What happens next

We review valid notices promptly — typically within 1–2 business days — and remove or disable access to the infringing block. We will make a good-faith effort to notify the buyer whose content was removed.

Counter-notices

If your block was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including: (1) your contact information; (2) identification of the removed material and where it appeared; (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification; (4) your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district; and (5) your signature. We may restore the block 10–14 business days after a valid counter-notice unless the complainant files court action.

Repeat infringers

Buyers who repeatedly upload infringing content are permanently banned from purchasing pixels, and their blocks may be removed without refund.

Note: misrepresenting infringement in a DMCA notice can expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If you're unsure, consult an attorney.
